                                                                SENTENCE PATTERN
SENTENCE :
                                A   group of words  which  makes   a  complete   sense  is
Called     a   SENTENCE .
Basic   elements of sentence pattern :
v  SV
v  SVO
v  SVC
v  SVA
v  SVOCA
v  SVIODO
SUBJECT :
A  person or think talked  about in a sentence.
A person who does the action in the sentence is the subject of the sentence .
Ex :
Ø  Birds fly
Ø  Raju  woke up
VERB :
The word that indicates  an action done by the subject or expresses a state  of being
Or  shows possession is called the verb .
EX:
Ø  Subha  sings
Ø  Nandu  eats
OBJECT :
The action of the verb is directed towards the subject  is    object .
EX:
Ø  They   are  playing
Ø  He   eats fruits .
There  are  two  types  of object  :
Direct   object
Indirect  object .
DO : It  answers the ouestion what
Indirect  object : It answers the question  whom .

COMPLEMENT  :
Complement is a compulsory  part  of the sentence .
After  the Be form verb is  complement .
EX  :
Ø  She became a victim .
Ø  Janu   was  excited
ADJUNT  :
Adjunt  is  a  additional   part  of  the  sentence  .
An  Adjunt  is a word  or  group  of  words  which provides  answers  to the
Questions  :  How ?,Where ?,When ?, Why ?
EX  :
Ø  The  stars shines  brightly .
Ø  She  went to  Chennai .
You  speak  English   well .
